Hi!! My name is Jacob Keven and I’m a queer self taught artist living in the Boston area with my cat, Freya. In my creative practice I combine quilting, couture, and sculpture techniques to create art with an emphasis on texture and color. I strive to be mindful of waste and use reclaimed materials whenever possible. All of my work is made exclusively with secondhand fabric.

My professional background is in science, but I’ve been creating my whole life. Either through drawing, painting, costume design, or whatever’s struck my interest, I’ve always maintained some outlet for art. I began practicing art with more focus in 2024 when I began work on The Pride Collection with intention. That practice has grown into everything you see on this website. I’ve learned so much through making this work and am excited to continue creating and learning more!
